Quickly and easily add:

• all the Basic question types such as Multiple Choice, Single or Multi Choices, Date or Date Range, Open Text, Short or Long, Numerical, with or without decimal, Country List, and Birth Year.

Survey Design

Use Survey Versioning to create surveys, pilot test the questions and add survey version so you can have comment on your research process to research ethical boards, management or the executive team. Add version, modify versions or delete versions, it is entirely up to you.

Use Skip Logic to move respondents forward into sections of a survey. Simply map out your entire survey and add in skip logic so respondents only see relevant questions based on previous answers; making your survey more sophisticated.

The built-in Informed Consent component facilitates needed disclosure to and consent from respondents, and works in conjunction with built-in opt-out functionality and other features to provide for managing survey recipient/respondent privacy.

Create any template within Jitsulab.com and those questions will be at your disposal at any time. Simple use the Copy from Survey function and build new surveys' follow up surveys or longitudinal surveys at any time.

Quickly and easily add information or Branding regarding your research organization with optional survey headers and footers containing text and your logo. Any survey (or survey format) created and saved then automatically becomes part of your account's survey library, available in future for instant re-use, in whole or part.

Surveys can be designed to be randomized at an appropriate level automatically when published online. When you select this option each respondent will see any element that is set to be randomized (response alternatives within one or more questions or within a section) in an order that eliminates design ordering bias, to increase reliability, of your raw data.

Real time preview can work in multiple ways. You can view your survey from the home or design tab to see the final product. Also, you can publish your survey and use the public link to view exactly what your respondents will receive.

Publish Survey

Publish any survey version in Public or Private mode.

A Public survey has built in simple link, customized link and embedded linking for websites. The simple link can be converted into any form, such a Respond Here button, the customized link can be used to increase response rates with sensitive sample groups and if you don't have a email list, simply embedd the survey into your website.

The built-in One Time, Intermediate or Longitudinal survey research facilitates:

• pilot test your survey to help establish recipient groups and/or test your questions and surveys for bias
• easy revision of recipient groups and/or survey for main data gathering phase of research
• coordinated design and analysis of possible follow-up survey(s) in the light of responses to a survey section
• follow a cohort from pre-entry, 1st year to final years, and post graduation for Longitudinal studies.

• recipient groups can be imported, created within the account, or a combination of these two methods
• recipient groups from other surveys in the account can be copied and revised as necessary, to optimize your research efficiency

Survey Distribution is tailored to the circumstances, including:

Jitsulab provides clear visibility into the progress of your research project, including the ability to track responses in 'real time'.

Jitsulab.com will track your Response Rate on the home tab, so you can send reminders to increase response rates or simply close the survey because a quota has been reached. Either way, you will know how to act with visible information.

There are multiple ways to analyze your data with Jitsulab.com or simply withdraw your data at any time via: .TXT, .CSV or .XLS for compatibility with other analysis tools. However, if you stay within Jitsulab.com, one can expect:

• Raw Text or Statistical Summaries
• Min., Mean, Median, Percentiles and Max.

Collaboration

Jitsulab gives you the option to add additional users to your account to easily share the work and/or the results.

The account owner has flexible control over access to all components of the account, to facilitate how he/she and other team members collaborate for optimum research efficiency and results Team members can log-in and work from anywhere through modern Internet connections and browsers.

Check-Out/Check-In functionality and sophisticated versioning of surveys allow team members to access the account synchronously while protecting surveys from work overlap between team members.

E-mail functionality and a team Discussion Forum are built in to the account to let team members readily share information.

Shared Document Storage of common formats such as word processing, spreadsheets, slide presentations is built into the account to facilitate information exchange. Based on team member access controlled by the account owner, team members can re-use surveys (or survey formats) in whole or part to save individual and team time and effort.
